4C Challenge Application Testing
Students who have applied to Esquimalt High School’s Challenge Program should report for testing:
S.J. Willis School located at 932 Topaz Avenue.
The date and time for testing is as follows:
Monday, February 4th from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Applicants should report to the auditorium by 12:30 p.m. The students will write two aptitude tests and participate in a creative writing exercise. No preparation for these test are necessary and all materials will be provided. There will be a ten minute break between testing sessions and students may bring a snack and/or juice if they desire. All testing should be completed by 3:30 p.m.. If an applicant is unable to attend on this day, please telephone the school at 250-382-9226 to arrange an alternative date.
Please note: S. J. Willis will not be able to provide computers for students who have, through their I.E.P.’s, identified the need to utilize a word processing program. These students may bring a laptop that has a USB port to transfer their written response. If you are not able to provide a laptop for your child, accommodation will be made to have the written section completed at the student’s present school or at the Challenge school of choice.
Part 2 (portfolio) of the application package may be brought to the S.J. Willis auditorium on February 4th, or delivered to the Esquimalt High School main office
