Special Education
All Esquimalt students are eligible for academic support in the Resource Room. Preferential placement will be given to students with ministry learning designations. Students are referred to the Resource Room by counsellors, classroom teachers, administration, parental request and recommendations from Middle Schools. The Resource Room has many uses for students and teaching staff. Students can be given additional instruction in core subjects and core subject assignments can be completed with teacher guidance. Student effort, attendance, preparedness and behaviour will be considered when assigning an effort mark and percentage mark.
